Tis' the Season for
Spring Cleaning
After a long winter, it’s finally time to dust off the patio, fire up the grill—and give your Muskoka Chair a little TLC. Whether your chair’s been buried under snow or just tucked away in the garage, a quick spring clean is all it takes to get it looking cottage-ready once again.
Step One
The Fresh Start – General Cleaning
You'll be amazed what a little elbow grease can do!
Step Two
Deep Clean for Peak Cottage Vibes

Want that fresh-out-of-the-box look? Go deeper:
01
Pressure Wash
A pressure washer on the lightest setting is safe—just don’t go over 1,500 psi.
02
Stay a Safe Distance
Keep the spray tip 10–12 inches away from the surface (or 16–20 inches for recycled plastic chairs).
03
25 Degree Angle
Stick to a 25° spray pattern to avoid damage.

Things to
Avoid this season
While you’re freshening up, a few things to skip:
- No flowerpots or metal items—they can stain!
- No hot plates or grills on your chair (unless melty plastic is your style).
- No abrasive tools or mystery cleaners—stick to the approved stuff.
Ready to Sit Back and Soak it in?
Our chairs are built tough to withstand the Canadian outdoors, but a little care helps them stay beautiful for years. Once your chair’s sparkling clean, all that’s left to do is enjoy it.
Spring is the time to reset your outdoor space, and your Muskoka Chair is the centrepiece. So scrub gently, rinse well, and then—most importantly—kick back, relax, and enjoy the view from your Muskoka Chair.Have more questions?
